Real reviews from our neighbors and regulars.
Super cozy place and great people! They have great books and if they don’t have the one you want they can order it! Great place to hangout, drink some tea, and cozy up with a book!
We’d love to come and check it out and leave a better review, but our first impression? Google and their door says they’re open till 8pm, but when we arrived at 7:12pm, they were closing. As my husband walked up they locked the doors and that was that. They SAW him walk up, too 🙄😅 We turned around and left, so that’s super disappointing. It behooves a business to reflect accurate opening and closing times AND THEN observe them, OR change the hours on google and their door, so people do not plan for a trip and they be closed. 1/2 drive wasted 🤷♀️
I’m so glad to find this adorable little shop in an area that has long been an indie bookshop desert The book selection is small, but so nicely curated. And if they don’t have have what you’re looking for, you can always still support them by ordering via Libro dot FM, or Bookshop dot Org. Plenty of comfy seating areas (love that bright purple couch!) and a delightful assortment of tea
A little hidden gem off Bandera Rd. Great cozy atmosphere to enjoy a hot drink and baked treat. Good curated selection of books from best sellers and currently popular reads to local author's works. We enjoyed perusing the assortment of smaller items for sale around the shop from stickers, tea cups, 3D figurines to jam and packaged tea. The drink punch card for frequent customers is a nice perk! We will definitely be dropping in again.
Cute vibes and friendly staff. Spent a good amount of time here. Just beware of buying anything other than books, prices may be heavily inflated which I get since it’s an independent store, but still it is a little ( A LOT) disappointing when you get home and see the price tag for Hobby Lobby on the back for 15 dollars less than what this store charged to buy it.
Good vibes very cozy great place to bring kids, small play section, also has coffee and snacks
This is my new favorite place. The selection of books is perfect; I always find multiple things I want across various genres. The books are really cool editions with painted sides. The family who runs the store is also very sweet.
Small intimate environment! Has a great selection of local authors, delicious looking sourdough baked goods, books for all ages and most importantly a kind and helpful staff. Highly recommend. My daughter got a signed copy of court of the dead with not only mark oshiro's signature but rick himself also signed this book. She was so excited and happy when she got this. They also raised the price only the smallest bit for these signatures(only $10 extra) this will be in her collection forever. She even said if only there was a way to rate this store 10/5 stars :D
Cozy, friendly atmosphere. Wonderful teas and a fun selection of books for all ages.
Such a perfect little secret bookshop. It has a limited selection of books, but has such a wonderful feel. Comfy places to sit, a little cafe AND fresh baked loaves of bread from a local baker. I will absolutely be back.
Very kind owners and fun events
This place is such a hidden gem!! Such a cute friendly place. They have small foods, drinks, decor, boardgames and books.
We had the most amazing experience here. My son liked the fancy tea and they had a book reading event with bunnies available for petting. Welcoming vibes and happy people.
I was in today with my daughter and granddaughter, we all 3 sat and had delicious teas, my daughter and granddaughter bought some boxes and a painting. The hostess(yes, I said hostess) was very warm and welcoming and took the time to explain things to each of us. 💯 atmosphere. Highly recommend!
The space is adorable, and the lady who helped us was so so sweet!! I had my younger brothers with me and she went out of her way to make sure they both had a great time, too. I had the specialty lavender lemonade drink and it's a 10/10, not too sweet and not too tart. Def check out if you're looking for books or fun drinks!
Cozy and whimsical, Pages for Ages has something for everyone. While the selections may seem small genres offered include science fiction, fantasy, true crime, even self help books and more. A selection of local authors and queer titles foster an atmosphere of inclusivity and acceptance. Can’t choose? Pick one of their beautifully wrapped surprise books. Enjoy tea with a friend out of one of their many teapots to choose from. You can even get a tarot reading with donation. I will definitely be coming back for some tea (Jazmine Blossom is a favorite) and a new read.
One of my favorite places in the whole city! It's always so quiet, local, and owned by a few families who share the work. I try to come once every 1-2 weeks for a few hours at a time and I have witnessed many interactions where any of the given owners have been kind and gracious to whoever walks through the door. Heads up, they do not sell coffee. This is personally not a drawback for me since I hate cofee, but I encourage coffee lovers to try their creative drinks or tea they serve in any of their beautiful tea sets. Cannot recommend this place enough!
I take my daughter to this place sometimes after she’s done with her math tutoring and she loves this place so much! Definitely recommend.
I just love this little book shop. I came by for the first time today to check this place out. I was also offered a chance to promote my books there, and I had so much fun. The shop is so cute and cozy. You can't help but just feel right at home. The staff there is also so sweet and kind. And their Chia tea is sooo good. I will definitely be coming back. This place is exactly what a book shop ought to be; cozy, safe, happy, and a little bit magical.
If you want a cozy, magical book store to sip tea and relax in, this is the spot! They have a variety of drinks to choose from, a wonderful environment and comfy couches to read at. They have blind date with a book packs, collectable statues, tarot cards, cute mugs, an awesome book wall for pictures! They even have a kids corner with toys for the little ones to entertain themsekves with while you browse the shelves. I highly recommend checking them out.
Had a Tarot Card reading gifted to me. I was enlightened by the experience. Received information that I needed to hear. Confirmation of things I was not sure of and details about things very specific that I was struggling with. A great experience and a wonderful gift. Do this!!
What a delightful and cozy little spot!! The vibe in this bookstore is SPOT ON. It’s so cozy, delightfully decorated, and is such a VIBE. The owners are so sweet and helpful, and have a ton of fun activities throughout the month for the community! Great book selection for adults and kids alike! Love the little tea cafe and the cute teapots you get to use with your tea are the perfect touch! There was plenty of seating for me and my friend to craft while we drank tea. Such a lovely experience and a great book-lovers paradise.
Such a cute bookstore/cafe, will have to come back. The owner was such a sweetheart, wish I knew about this place sooner! There’s a curated selection of books worth checking out, a few tables to sit & chill (if that’s your thing), and the drinks to choose from even have their own charm. Not to mention they have weekly events, how thoughtful!
Adorable, quaint, lovely, comfortable, and very welcoming! Tea was hot & refillable! Of course I had to buy a book for the grandkid!
The most cozy little spot with great treats like muffins and cookies and more. The store itself is very cute inside and comfortable. The staff is warm and welcoming.
Came in to browse. Lots of cool niche books for all ages. Kids reading time on Saturday was 2pm. Lounge chairs, activity table. Also cool collectibles (think Sideshow Star Wars, Thunder cats, DC statues). There's also a small selection of baked goods (muffins, loaves), drink bar (flavored cold, hot drinks). We liked the chocolate chip sourdough and the Sweeter Weather Cider, Gummy Bear Fizz drinks. Recommended!
Warm, welcoming and magical. Love the tea and pastries, candles, special finds and books!
I enjoyed perusing the book selection, especially the local authors area, while enjoying a lemonade. Picked up a lovely sourdough boule also. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Very cute and cozy vibes in here! I got a rlly pretty hardback copy of Dracula for $20 and I'm obsessed. Will definitely be coming back for more!
Love this place! Great people, books, tea's & snacks, and activities. We even got to do our first Tarot readings for the whole family. What a fun and insightful experience. Thank y'all! On a side note try their bread loafs, we got the "Everything but the Bagel / Cheddar" bread, amazing!
Fantastic place. Great environment. I can't get enough of this place and the wonderful people here.
Friendly owners. Cute little bookstore comfortable seating
The cutest little gem out there. Had a wonderful time with my book club.
Such a cute little store! I'm so thankful for another cute small business like this one. We picked up a pizza sourdough and an Autumn Embers (hot). Just got them, so unable to share flavors yet. I will totally be sharing this place with all sorts of peeps. May Pages for Ages be blessed!
What a hidden gem! I just found out about this place and stopped by to check it out. It's run by four local families, and everyone I talked to today was delightful. They have cold drinks, hot drinks, some baked goods, books, 3D Printed art, and tarot reading (strictly non-demonic). They seem particularly interested in serving the needs of neurodivergent children, and my son enjoyed playing with their sensory toys. With so many chain stores and car washes dominating the landscape these days, I'm thrilled to have found a locally owned bookshop/cafe in the wild, less than a five minute drive from my home.
We hosted our book club event at Pages for Ages today, and it was such a wonderful experience! The owners were super nice and attentive, and we really enjoyed the tasty muffins, delicious tea, and refreshing drinks. The bookstore itself is beautiful and full of charm , you can truly tell they’ve put their heart into every detail. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and fellow book lovers!
Cozy spot with good tea and tasty treats
Went today with my wife! Quaint little book shop with a great selection of books, collectibles, and sweet eats! My wife grabbed a book and we got a loaf of sourdough bread! Highly recommend! Shout out to Justin on his custom made and hand-painted statues.
We absolutely love this little bookstore! It's cozy and homey, the right mix of quiet without being eerie lol. I really like the selection of books, plus they were able to order in a new release I'm excited about! The kids section has some baskets of figit toys to keep the kiddos busy. Today I tried one of their autumn special iced drinks and it was so good!! My teenager had hot chocolate with cream and raved about it all the way home. And the pumpkin muffin was great too 💕
What a warm, comfy place. Delicious drinks. Best brownie I have had in a long while.

And the pumpkin muffin was great too 💕
Went today with my wife! Quaint little book shop with a great selection of books, collectibles, and sweet eats! My wife grabbed a book and we got a loaf of sourdough bread! Highly recommend! Shout out to Justin on his custom made and hand-painted statues.
Cozy spot with good tea and tasty treats
We hosted our book club event at Pages for Ages today, and it was such a wonderful experience! The owners were super nice and attentive, and we really enjoyed the tasty muffins, delicious tea, and refreshing drinks. The bookstore itself is beautiful and full of charm , you can truly tell they’ve put their heart into every detail. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and fellow book lovers!
Such a cute little store! I'm so thankful for another cute small business like this one. We picked up a pizza sourdough and an Autumn Embers (hot). Just got them, so unable to share flavors yet. I will totally be sharing this place with all sorts of peeps. May Pages for Ages be blessed!
The cutest little gem out there. Had a wonderful time with my book club.
Friendly owners. Cute little bookstore comfortable seating
Fantastic place. Great environment. I can't get enough of this place and the wonderful people here.
Love this place! Great people, books, tea's & snacks, and activities. We even got to do our first Tarot readings for the whole family. What a fun and insightful experience. Thank y'all! On a side note try their bread loafs, we got the "Everything but the Bagel / Cheddar" bread, amazing!
Very cute and cozy vibes in here! I got a rlly pretty hardback copy of Dracula for $20 and I'm obsessed. Will definitely be coming back for more!
I enjoyed perusing the book selection, especially the local authors area, while enjoying a lemonade. Picked up a lovely sourdough boule also. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Warm, welcoming and magical. Love the tea and pastries, candles, special finds and books!
The most cozy little spot with great treats like muffins and cookies and more. The store itself is very cute inside and comfortable. The staff is warm and welcoming.
Adorable, quaint, lovely, comfortable, and very welcoming! Tea was hot & refillable! Of course I had to buy a book for the grandkid!
Had a Tarot Card reading gifted to me. I was enlightened by the experience. Received information that I needed to hear. Confirmation of things I was not sure of and details about things very specific that I was struggling with. A great experience and a wonderful gift. Do this!!
I take my daughter to this place sometimes after she’s done with her math tutoring and she loves this place so much! Definitely recommend.
We had the most amazing experience here. My son liked the fancy tea and they had a book reading event with bunnies available for petting. Welcoming vibes and happy people.
This place is such a hidden gem!! Such a cute friendly place. They have small foods, drinks, decor, boardgames and books.
Very kind owners and fun events
Such a perfect little secret bookshop. It has a limited selection of books, but has such a wonderful feel. Comfy places to sit, a little cafe AND fresh baked loaves of bread from a local baker. I will absolutely be back.
Cozy, friendly atmosphere. Wonderful teas and a fun selection of books for all ages.
This is my new favorite place. The selection of books is perfect; I always find multiple things I want across various genres. The books are really cool editions with painted sides. The family who runs the store is also very sweet.
Good vibes very cozy great place to bring kids, small play section, also has coffee and snacks
Super cozy place and great people! They have great books and if they don’t have the one you want they can order it! Great place to hangout, drink some tea, and cozy up with a book!
